Earlier I posted pics of an attempt at making a cottage style wood stove for use in my project.. and after thinking about I i decided it would not suite my project.
Here is my 2nd build of what I think a WWII GI would buid if he needed a wood cook stove using bits that could be found around the local headquarders / Quarterstaff area.
this is before painting so its construction can be better seen. a couple of parts from the spares box are used as a base with plastruct used to represent welded peices of metal to build the item.
comments are always welcome ? I can take it......

Great job Delbert.
The only thing that I can suggest or would change is the cooking surface. If the drum you used is solid I can see forgoing it because you would have to aug out most of the interior. However if it is hollow I would have used some sort of screen like the PE used for the rear deck intakes of a Tiger or Panther.
