Probably this is old news to you guys BUT since you are all so helpful to us I thought I'd share this tip ....
To fill gaps or seams .... mix some putty (we used Revell's) and nail polish remover together and apply with thin brush along your seam. Let dry thoroughly and sand down use wet and dry sanding methods. We mix the stuff in an old bottle cap so that it doesn't dry up too quickly.

thanks for the tip aisyah.
i believe many of us use same method just like yours but the only different is the materials.
i used tamiya basic putty mix with lacquer thinner.
for large gap i used milliput.

Been away for a while. That's a nice tip Mislmd. Here's another one for very fine gaps. Just use liqiud paper, you know the stuff we use to "blanco" typo mistakes although nowdays I think hardly anybody types on a typewriter nowdays.

Hmm, we seem to get the occassional American tourists over here at our community forum which is nice. I got a very helpful offer from Mother from US offering to get for me some styrene after he read about our thread on styrene.

Liquid Paper ...ugh that's a great idea! Will have to add that to my "must have" supplies list! Thanks for the info
