I have read a lot about this polish and its uses in model building, but I have a couple of questions before I use it for the first time.

1/ In the UK is Future known as "Johnson's Klear"?
2/ I know you can spray it neat, but if you do want to thin it, what do you thin it with?
3/ What do you use to clean your airbrush afterwards? Should I get a cheap aribrush for general spraying and not risk my Badger 150?
4/ What pressures do people recommend for spraying to get a good even coverage before applying decals?

TIA

~Hi again mate
i have ony just started using future
could never find it before thats where armorama helped me !
it is indeed called Johnsons KLEAR
and is available from asda ,sainsburys ect...
i have become totally addicted now and use it constantly i wouldnt really see the need to thin it ?
its very much "water like"
already
but i think normal water should do it is just acrylic after all
as for cleaning the airbrush i have a new Aztec "Metal"
and use that with great success ,so far i have just used water to clean it with airbrush cleaner such as "spray away"
to finish the job but i'm told household amonia is the best thing to clean it with (just going to smell :-) ) pressure to best spray at is for me 25-30 psi standard ,now my regulator is old and a bit chewed so maybe actually 20-25 psi
good luck mate

I use a product available in the States called Windex to clean out my airbrush. It is a blue liquid used to clean windows, and it does contain Amonia. Its much cheaper than A/B thinner or cleaner and works great.

Both above posts are right on. I have not found any reason to thin FUTURE. I use windshield cleaner to clean the gun then pass some WINDEX through it for final cleaning.
