A belated Hari Raya to both of you, Zaidi and Mislmd. Hope the ketupat did not take a heavy toll. I believe the version mentioned by Zaidi is called Johnson Klear, supposedly the European version. Pretty hefty price at RM 40/bottle.
The Gungyze Sanyo (sorry for the spelling) Gloss is what I use but any of the gloss finishes out there are pretty good. What are you planning to use it for?

this year i didnt have the opportunity to consume much ketupat..coz this year is the wife turn so the familly of her side didnt make ketupat..instead they made lontong...so no ketupat for me this year

okay, about Future...the one that i used is called future and it is the same products that those amerikans used... i've been trying to find this product for years until ACE hardware open and sell them...when they're first arrive, they only cost arounf RM33.90 ... now (if not mistaken) is arround Rm44 .. one bottle can last forever..the one that i bought in 2002 still last today

Well for "those" Americans (of which I am one ... haha) the Future is a cheap alternative to the gloss finishes. I was thinking it be the same here but $44 seems a bit hefty a price for spraying on a model.... UNLESS I use it on the kitchen floor too. Can do the floor and model all in one shot! haha

I was thinking a bottle of the Future would probably last longer then the gloss finishes since we have two modelers in our house. Seriously, I could buy that stuff back in the US for like $6 a bottle ... minus a dollar or two with my coupons or sales! I suppose we will just have to get a bottle and see how far it goes.

aisyah,
u're really right about the price of Future here in Malaysia. But a bottle of future can last a few years juts like what i'm experiencing now. The only time when Future is use in big quantity is on airplane models just like my 1/32 phantom which i used almost a cup of future to fully coat it.
Unlike in the US, everything is cheap regarding to this hobby especially that of supplies and tools. That's why i always envy our fellow americans back in the states. So just let us know if u're going back to the US... i assume all of us will send you our wish list
