Greetings to all, good morning!!
Just got a new Digital camera this weekend, a Nikon Coolpix....This little beast takes some dynamite photo's! 4.2 megapixels with a 3.0 Macro zoom...Got some excellent shots of some stuff...I took some close-ups of a recent Dio I just finished and I just couldn't believe the clarity...Will greatly improve the quality of my photo posts...Anyone else have this camera out there???

Hi Gunny,
I had a Nikon Coolpix 2500 untill earlier this year. It was a nice little camera but just not fast enough. I need a camera with manual controls (aperture, shutter speed etc.) and in March I bought a Fujifilm S5000. It has all I need apart from a flash hotshoe. Which type of nikon have you got. 4.2 MP and Macro, just right for the job. Oh If you can change the file size in which you take your photo's, drop the size as it saves you condiderable resizing of your pic's later for the net.
