David

I agree we should use this facility more. However I spend so much time here that MODELLING just doesn't seem to make it on my agenda.

I start with good intentions every night of quickly checking out here (and a couple of other sites - ebay) and spend all my time here then all of a sudden it is 1.00am and bedtime - no modelling.

anyway it is so warm and humid here at the moment that I keep dripping sweat on my workspace - so maybe I shouldn't be trying to model. :-)

Just went and put a coat of Shine Magic on an airfix Bf109F to seal the decals and the mist coat was lumpy because it was drying before it hit the model. Had to put on a heavy coat to cover it all up.

We have managed 36 degrees the last couple of days here and it is still quite warm at night. Need the rain though but it seems to keep missing Mackay - splits to the West of us and crosses the coast to the North and South.

We could do with a bit of the rain from further South as we have just gone on to tougher water restrictions, and it looks like the sugar cane crop for next year could be down about 40% because the rain hasn't watered the crop.

We get a fair bit of rain but we also have the hot days two, anyone whose lived in melbourne will tell you the same, we have every season in one week! :-)
our water restrictions should be taken back to stage 1 by march, so they are telling us....

Mate I am in the Mackay Scale Model Club - we are a very informal club - no fees etc. We meet every second Sunday - usually to talk crap and every now and then someone brings in a model they are working on. Its fun though and gets me out of the house.

We have the second biggest model comp (after QMHE) in Qld every May day long weekend. Some of our guys got up to your show last year but I managed to miss out.

Have you heard about the comp in Rockhampton in February?

G'Day all.

Anyone in Sydney know where to get Tamiya Polyester putty as per the Modeler's guide to the Tiger Tank. Need some for my Zimmerit.
