Intreresting.... Davey.....
My mail program, incredimail also ( my private one, not the yahoo junk mail one) puts all "junk" emails into a separate folder, if the sender is not in my address book. My normal proceedure is to simply click it to have it bounce back to sender. Maybe you are bouncing back, without knowing it. ( I take it both are your email's)

I don't know if they will help if your machine has been highjacked or not but I run run Ad Aware and Spybot on a regular basis at work and at home. Both are freeware and work great. If you don't run them you will be amazed the first time you do and see all the crap on your machine that you didn't know was there.

Anyway, links to the download sites below.

i totally agree w/ shaun, i use spybot search and destroy, works like a charm, i have no experince w/ your anti-virus as i use norton, which i prefer over others. your best chance is this: if you dont know what the message could be, delete it. some spyware can also lay dorment like a time bomb and pops up when triggered. good luck to you

OH... yeah.... I forgot... I also use spybot, spyblaster, and No Adware on a regular basis, along with McAfee.

i have AVG antivirus because norton kept allowing it to be opened and let it through !

Well, on my part, I receive some of that messages too, but I think they are traps to catch you.
Even so I use everything I can against these virus and/or malware that run on the web. Every day I receive a couple of these infected messages. As said James (Phantom_Major) I also use this main rule:
"if you don't recognise the sender, the topic or file attachements...delete it !"
I use for PC protection, antivirus: AVG; anti malware :Ad-aware, Spybot, ASquare; and a firewall Zone-Alarm, all of them for free. Besides I created a new e-mail address and I open the old one only in the page of my provider's webmail, in that case TerraMail. That old address is who usually receives the infected messages.
Up to now I have been escaping from those curses.
