Been looking for Verlinden's Scribe Template but can't seem to find it .... any ideas where else I can look?
Aisyah
Also, what about styrene sheet of plastic? My husband is looking to make some modifications to a MIG 29's wings? Thanks.

Sorry Mismld can't help you much with the template but I can tell you that styrene is very difficult to get here. Silantra mention buying some at an Art shop but it cost a bomb. I've been hunting for the stuff for quite a while. I've even checked with plastic suppliers but styrene or polystrene is not as popular as the other P's (polyproplene, PVC, etc.). The concern about the other P's is how well they take paint. I will check another potential lead next week and if its favorable I'll let you know.
I got a bit from the Replica shop but I can't confirm its styrene and neither can they. They said its used in advertising boards so its possible but its thick (2mm). They don't really sell it as they use it occassionally for minor scratchbuilding.
In sheer frustration, coz I needed to fabricate part of a boat for my dio, I bought a plastic file and cut it up. Its okay but doesn't hold paint too well. Once my dio is done maybe I'll post some pics.

aisyah,
i cant help with the verlinden template but i used the one made by Hasegawa. i think they're available in most of local hobby shop. once i saw at unicorn hobby.
for the plastic sheet, like beachbum mentioned, they cost like bomb...i dont even know any cheaper alternative beside using normal household plastic part which is not recommended.

wel aisyah, the list is long..but i think we all might be happy to start with styrene first.
other thing is, hmmm after a while in many international modeling community, they're all used Celluclay as their groundwork material. It's nice to have a try on this. have u try this aisyah??
