Well after a year of reading how great this stuff is from you guys, I used it today. Couple of questions. I've let it dry for an hour or so now and was surpised that the model wasn't as glossy as expected (doing a n M-113). The pant texture still feels a little rough (flat paint base). Do you put several coats on? I added some water to the future, is this necessary?

I would recommend not adding water to the polish, i spray neat and always get a smooth finish. I usually spray a couple of thin coats over my armour and this always works out fine
cheers

How long do you have to wait between coats?

It kind of depends on what you want to do with your M113. I have used future on aircraft and armor, with armor is was mainly just to protect the base coat from the washes so I only used one coat and didn't care that it wasn't all that smooth. With AC I use it more for decal prep so more than 1 coat is put on to make it as smooth as possible. I have never added water, never thought it needed it although I hand brush mine so thickness isn't a worry. And usually 30-60minutes between coats is fine. Hope that helps!

i always shoot Future full blast without diluting it with water. if the model is an ac and future is use prior to decal, then i let it dry for 2 day. it actually depend on ambient humidity. For a country that relatively high humidity, then 2-3 days are sufficient to get the future fully cured.
