First I want to thank everyone one more time for helping me locate the Scud model.
I was thinking as it is not always easy for us locate a particular model, accessory kit, figure ...etc... maybe you could post the names and addresses for some of the other places u do your model shopping at.
BTW, while shopping for the SCUD yesterday we also picked up Revell's MIG 29 Fulcrum (for husband), AFV's Wiesel Mk20A1 (mine) and Academy's US Tank Destroyer M10 Duckbill vehicles. Ouch that's quite a dent in our budget!

hi aisyah.
among my modelling haunts are:
1. miniature hobby (most accessible, plenty of kits though not many dml)
2. hobby hq (many hard-to-find items)
3. online shops: hobbyeasy & luckymodel etc.

haven't gone to unicorn hobby or replica shop yet, maybe next year. also bought a dml kit (brummbar) from ebay once for us$1 plus shipping for us$13!

so what do u think of your first visit to hobbyhq?

For those who is in the northern region....I stumble upon this small (really small...smaller than Hobby HQ) shop at Komtar Penang. It's called Hobbyco, located at Level 3 (i think). A quarter of the stock consists of Gundams while the rest are mainly Hases and Italeris. No CCs, cash only....even then I managed to haul back Dragon's Soviet Aircraft Weapons Set 3, Hasegawa's A/c Weapons Set II and VII and some modeling supplies.

Hi everyone,

The Hobbyco that is in Penang opens only from 1pm onwards on Sat Sun and Public holidays only. Unbelieable as it may sounds.

Don't know whether it's one-off for the week or not but the sign outside the shop said that it is open on Fridays too...but yeah, that's a weird way to run a business!
