Gave up warhammer.... too expensive so i guess im back to model .

I can surely understand that decision!! I've been helping my son with his Warhammer a bit and been with him to the stores. Eventhough he has been paying for the stuff, I've had to grab on to something as to not fall down due the prices!!!

i never got into that warhammer stuff for that same reason, the cost is to me, ridiculous, i like my armor anyways welcome back

For those of us (the 'old' guard) who are unfamiliar with why Warhammer would be expensive.........would you be so kind as to elaborate??

warhammer, being a wargame, sets more value on their stuff because of this. So what if the guy is a little ork with a pistol, he may be the best ork in the whole universe, which is why people would buy only that ork and smack together an army of little orks. To balance the game, however, this ork costs 40$ while some guy in heavy armor and an auto costs less because he may be a cannon fodder troop.

Warhammer is expensive because of their casting ( i think thats what its called). Most figures are metal but some are plastic anyhows the figures after setting are hand filled to perfection.
