I stopped by my local Hobby Lobby today in the morning and picked up a two "economicaly" priced kits.
At the check out the lady took 50% off the prices... OK???
I asked her if they were on sale as I did not see the usual 1/2 Off All Plastic Kits anywhere in the store-she iformed me that I must have mentioned to her the internet coupon (she was just being nice to me which I was greatly appreciative of).

In the end she told me that even though they do not have a store sale I can go on line and look for online coupons which they honor at the store... I got to work and checked.. there it is "50% off all plastic kits" printable coupon.

For those of you who did not know about this (which I did not know and kept visiting hoping to "hit" the sale), we can go on www.Hobbylobby.com, look for Online Coupon section, print what they have and take it to the store. The current is for plastick kits and it is good untill Nov. 6th (Saturday).

I believe this is a great tip as it sure beats paying a full price for a kit...

For those who did not look into Hobby Lobby or are not aware of them carrying model kits-so far each one I have been to has a very nice selection of car kits, a decent selection of airplane and helicopters inlcuding some large scale stuff (I picked up my 1:24 scale Trumpeter Spitfire for what I believe was about $60-70 on a Half off sale)... they carry some of the Academy Black Hawk kits in 1:35, alos some Tamiya Armour (Panther from Ardeness withe motorcylcle and 3 figures, Marder III and Marder III M, Horsch, Humvees-the recent ones!! and some modern armour)... and also some ships-preatty nice kits also (the one I went to had the 1:350 Bismarc in stock-nice) with this sale it is worth visiting the store and getting what you may have been looking for at 1/2 the price.

Don't Forget to Print the Coupon though!

PS. Hope this helps-especially to the modelers on the budget.

...Printed one off their site Monday and used it yesterday to pick up a German Sub kit they had...and it appears it's good for as many kits as you want as long as they are regular priced kits.

I've got a nice little story: I found a Tamiya M4 Sherman Early Production (My first Sherman! ) already for $19.99 on clearance. Since you can't get another 50% on already marked-down items, I thought about it, working on minimum wage and McDonald's. Well, it was the only one, and I figured "If I didn't get it, someone else would." Well, I took it, along with the only M1025, to the cashier. Well, apparently, this cashier was new, or didn't know, but I got the Sherman for $9.99! $9.99! I should've spent $43.59, but spent $33.59! Someone should let me scratch their lotto ticket! Thanks for your time, and thanks to Hobby Lobby for this!

How to put this nicely …. Sod that! I hate you lot! :-)

With half-off, even Tasca’s Jerry cans and Luchs would now be affordable!
