so i'm surfing the internet today, and i decided to see what stuff testors has..just for kicks, now i never knew this, but they have the model master german, japanese, british, u.s. paint sets for ww2, just thought id q some of you in...if you didnt know this info like me

Yeah, I've noticed that before. The only problem I have is getting ahold of MM paints...

Hey, mech...just caught your post about the MM paint sets...I think that they are great, especially for beginner modelists who want to use a good product, but not quite sure about what colors to buy for their new paint cabinet...plus they come in a really cool camo box that's re-usable!

i'm a big fan of the MM paints all i use is MM and polly scale, but yes it does look handy because the boxes are reusable, cant have enough spare boxes around!

I also think it's an excellent idea for the newcomer, yougin', or one time subject. Getting the basic color pallet you are going to need for the model in a decent reusable box.
Patra use to do the same deal years ago, when I was wearing animal skins, in their "international colors" smaller bottles, and a chintzy cardboard box. 
If memory serves me... I believe that Humbrol had a few set ups like that also.
