Is there anyway to remove decals without destroying them? Say you have already placed them on a model, without using any decal solution.
This is because I feel like repainting one of my models, but the decals for it were quite expensive.

Hey Lim, this is a biggie. Well hopefuly you did'nt seal over them with a clear coat. I did remove a few decals once, but i was unable to save them. Try this, soak some tissue in warm water and lay it over the decal. This should lossen the decal, then lift the decal off and lay it on some wax paper. Word of caution, decals will become brittel and will break easy when they dry. To reply them, use one of those decal solvents. I just don't remember which on at this time. I sure someone else will remember and or have an idea. Good luck.

ok thanks, i did not put a clear coat or any decal solution on yet, so i thought maybe they can be salvaged, however if they become brittle i guess i'll just have to spend an extra $$$$ getting n ew set
