In terms of model building, what is the differences between the standard milliput and the superfine milliput?
Is it just like the regular model putty such as squadron green? What I mean is, does it adhere to plastic like the others or do you have to glue it to the model?

They're both a Epoxy type putty. The Superfine has a finer Grain in it.

What I have found with the super fine is that when dried, it seems to sand easier and there is less of a chance of tiny holes left behind from the larger grains of material
That's just my opinion though.

Hope maybe that helped.

HI

Yup, the finer the grain the better. Depends on what you are using it for of course. If you were doing sandbags then you may not mind the courseness.

Mind you, to say that it is like the diff between 60 and 1000 grit sandpaper may be misleading.

this question is both on and off topic, but where can I get milliput, either online or in the new york city-ish area?

and from what i hear, I'm pretty sure it sticks to most plastics, although I doubt it'd stick to anything very smooth if you were making a protrusion.
