Has anyone come across DML Dragon's 1/35 scale SS-1c Scud B Missile Launcher? Been searching for this model for a few weeks now.

aisyah,

this Replica shop is located in Kampung Baru, KL. Your husband for sure knew where is kg baru about. It is just infront of the famous nasi lemak antarabangsa stall. Bussiness time till 5.00 pm. i Forget their numbers but perhaps beachbum still have their card.

Sorry for the late reply, Mislmd. The Replica shop is very near to the Kg. Baru LRT. You get off the Putra LRT stop at Kg. Baru. Turn left at the LRT entrance and walk down a slope about 30 m. and the road curves to the right. Follow that for approx. another 30 m. and take the first left. Walk down a further 50m. or so and its a tiny little shop on the left after the food stalls.

On Saturday a small crowd of modellers gather to talk shop. The shop carries a very limited supply but it does have the DML scud mobile launcher. The guys who run it are Adnil and Hilmi. Friendly guys who offer basic modelling & airbrush lessons too. Sorry left my handphone at home AGAIN (hate those things, the h/phone that is, memory well thats been bad for a long time), so I can't give you their numbers now.

If you need their numbers give a call at the office. My office no. is 03-8925 1496 and ask for Tang.

Actually .... it's for the more experienced modeler .... my husband. He has been looking for this model for quite some time now ... hopefully we will be able to find it. We have heard that it is no longer being produced sooooo we will have to rush out to that Replica Shop ASAP.
BUT if it were for me YEP I would build some really awesome dio!

Mojimbo ...no not yet ...where is the place you went to? Can u pass along the phone number for the shop? Would love to get our hands on it this weekend.

Beachbum ...gave my husband your directions and he wondered if you could direct him from HKL instead of the LRT because he is not familiar with the LRT.

Thanks so much for everyone's help.

Wow ... thanks so much for all the specs for the store ... I was just thinking to look through the yellow pages for any shops having the name Hobby HQ.
My husband isn't quite familiar with the Replica Shop area but we would like to check it out. He mentioned maybe someone here could give him directions using HKL as starting point instead of LRT???? I couldn't find a listing in the Yellow Pages.

BTW is anyone participating in the Ardennes campaign?

ok aisyah, let me try...
my navigation skill wasnt good but i give it a try

from HKL travel towards KL city....travel alonng the road until u reach jalan sultan ismail junction. at this junction take left. floow the road until u reach another junction. at this junction take left. U are now in kg baru area. travel further ..about 100-200m take the first small junction on the right. U will see a line of stall and warung. The replica shop is located about 50m from the junction on your right. On your left is nasik lemak antarabangsa. after shopping your SCUD, have a nasik lemak here. hehe

We bought our Scud model at Hobby HQ ... however I want to check out the Replica Shop so I have tucked your directions into my purse and will visit the shop AND have some Nasi Lemak once we get past "fasting". Looking really forward to checking out the Nasi Lemak as it is my favorite Malaysian food!
