Scott,
I seem to have the same problem, And does the switching of ranks fit into this math problem?

There are a few small variations with rank. The basic give you the first promotion at 50 posts.
Tracy, your rank is correct for your posts. An Airman First Class 100 - 149 posts. You've had one promotion.
Komet - your 1st one wont happen until 100 posts with the branch of service you've selected.

Komet -
Hear your frustration, but keep them posts coming in and it builds up rather quickly. Sure a lot faster then when I was on active duty,

I was rank even before signing up here at Armorama.com. I have my Armorama t-shirt now and my noisome stench is everpresent. Granted, I look much better with the t-shirt although my protuberant paunch sticks out.
I don't think I would ever post to gain a higher rank because many of my posts are just entirely too verbose and nonsensical.

Is it posible to change branch of service or are we locked on the branch we chose, when signing up?

Remember that if you change ranks that you may gain or lose positions depending on the promotion schedule of the new rank. May people seem to drop far more than gain so don't be surprised of you get demoted if you switch

Don't feel bad. Either I can't count or I have been "busted" once or twice. Oh well.
