Hi all,
I'm scratchbuilding a Sherman BARV (Beach Armoured Recovery Vehicle.) It has a large, curved splash shield around the superstructure. My current plan for this is as follows: Using a piece of coduit of the appropriate diameter to achieve the necessary radius, secure .020 styrene sheet around the conduit. Dunk this assembly in boiling water to heat form the styrene. Cool. Secure to flat surface. Use test indicator to find the top center of each end to create a straight edge to start from.
Anyone have any better suggestions for this?
