I was over at the mall on my lunch break, and wandered into the bookstore. There I found a shelf full of bargain books, and happened upon a hardcover entitled "Germany At War" 258 Pages of all colour photos. It's put out by Carlton Books, and the isbn # is 1-84442-934-2. I'm sure you've probably seen alot of the pics inside, but for me, I've only begun to scratch the surface in the photo dept. Some great close up shots of Panzer III's IV's, artillery, etc. Well worth to have!
Cheers,
Kelly

Gotta agree with you guys. 2nd hand book stores are also a great place to look.
I also tend to wait until kalahari.net (the SA equivalent of Amazon) has sales, then I order as many Osprey and modelling books as I think I can slip by SWMBO. I think the key is to order something for her at the same time... :-) :-)

Hey Tarok,
Do they still have any Kilo Bookshops in CT?
They had a few up here, but they've all closed down.

Naah, they still call themselves Paperweight, but they don't charge per kilo anymore. Their prices are not that good anymore either. Every now and then I manage to find a copy of FSM, or Military Modeller. Unfortunately it's more then than now, if you know what I mean.

Hi all,
You could try ;
http://www.books.com
which is Barnes and Nobles ordering webpage. In the bargin sale, look under history and you will find hundreds of books.
I order them, and it's very cheap delivery costs, but it takes 1 month time, for base price.

Hey Savage,
I didn't know about that one. There used to be one in Hatfield and one about 400m from Sterland, but they're both gone. There was also one in The Wheel, Durban, which I used to visit on Friday's after school. They had some pretty good books. There was also a little shop near West Street (I think) in Mark Lane that had some great books. I picked up a few Armour and one VP Book there for next to nothing. I think the VP book cost all of R10.00, and it was in near perfect condition
I found a book shop around the corner from me, but the guys prices are so high that if you took an extra 20 to 40 bucks, you could go and buy the book brand new!
