Ok, time to wake up this forum.

I've put my ships on hold (lack of reference, parts, etc) and building up two Tamiya 1/35 Challengers (1 and 2) during my sem break.

The Tami Chally 2 is being 'de-desertized', having made scratchbuilt skirts (the Trump Chally 2 skirts are too short - comparing with Concord's 1/35 line drawing - if they're correct), replaced/replacing all handles/tie downs with metal wire, adding film negatives behind the vision blocks/periscopes/TOGS to 'tint' them, scavenging parts from Trump Chally 2 to Tami Chally 2.

The Chally 1 is getting a similar make over: all molded-on handles and tie downs are being replaced with metal wire. This will be in Euroland scheme as well, not desertized (I'm getting a bit *tired* seeing desertized Challengers).

The Chally 1 will be in King's Royal Hussars markings, while the Chally 2 will be in Scots Dragoon Guards markings.

Will post pictures of them unpainted (to show the modifications) and when completed, as soon as they reach those stages.

I also have an oooooooooooold Tamiya Sheridan kit in the pipeline. Gathering more references to super-detail it into an 3/73d, 82d Airborne Sheridan (and I have contact with the actual vets who used it in the Gulf War! )

1.) Just finished painting a USMC B.A.R. man.... (from DML's USMC Iwo Jima 1945 kit) Waiting for it to dry so I can begin applying washes....

2.) Just finished painting another USMC fig's flesh color... (from the same kit) Waiting to dry to begin painting clothes...

3.) Started working on a fig from DML's "FROZEN BATTLEGROUND" kit.... Wanted to use resin head but too big...Just settled to replace the uber un-detailed default head with a new one from DML's new head sculpts....(from the 10th anniversary kits....) Thanks to shonen_red for the head...

4.) Began priming shonen_red's Sakura Shinguji head.... (after months of paint sripping and sanding....)Now trying to learn how to brush paint acrylic....

5.) Began stripping me 1/5 Belldandy figure.... Trying to work on it again and hoping to make a better finish after learning acrylic....

6.) Disassembled me old 1/144 HG UC Guncannon kit....Trying to work on it again...

Well for starters I just finished my Tamiya 1/16 US Army Infantryman (no big deal). I do have some projects on my workbench like my 1/35 Italeri LAV Mortar Carrier which has been sitting on its base waiting for some idea to hit me, if I ever get one. I also have started doing my Dragon M1A1HA which I planned to detail up a bit with an engine kit from Legend, some PE parts from Eduard and maybe a metal barrel from Barrel Depot (if I can get hold of one from Mission Models). Having all these AM parts around makes me kinda regret having started this project since I'll be working nights from now 'till God knows when so I'll probably lose interest in building this project & it would end up in the top shelves gathering dust. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

Hi,

I'm working on:

1) a Panzer IV H (almost finished). I have to scratchbuild some restraining straps. I would have finished this earlier but I was stuck between a decision of whether I should put Shurzen or not. In the end, I decided to leave off the Shurzen.

2) Eight more figures of my diorama to paint

3) a few accessories (crates, barrells, boxes, etc.)

Hi everyone,

My on-going builds:

Snowspeeder
X-wing
1/72 Jagdpanther
1/35 Flakpanzer Gepard
1/72 Leopard 1A5

I just picked-up my x-acto knife yesterday and started tinkering with them again. I hope to finish a couple of them soon.

Hi guys I'm from Singapore, also a pinoy like you. I am working here in Lucent.

Right now I am building a Gepard Anti Aircraft by heller , some german infantry figures and a dornier Do335 aircraft.

I guess you are in the same modeling group overthere, here I am doing it independently so most of the information I need comes from the web.

Problem with this hobby is so addictive, I cant control my self in buying kits, now it is piling everywhere in my room.
Anyway, I love modeling and will not break this hobby.

cheers!

I'm making a small diorama for the Battle of the Bulge campaign.

As of now, these are my builds.

1) Accurizing the Tamiya M4A3 Sherman. Almost finished. I need to make the periscope guards.

2) Priming four DML US figures

Welcome badblood....

I'm currently in the finishing stage of my Academy Tiger-I early...although still needs to paint the tracks and some minor thing. I'm also playing around with weathering the tank using mostly pastel chalks. I shelved my DML panzer IV for the meantime.

BTW, I just bought an Italeri M4 US Marines...w/c is not actually an M4A2 but rather a late M4A3 75(W)....

Angela, where are the pics?
Cheers.

Update:

Since I'm currently 'airbrush impaired', hence all I do is build and build and build with no painting, the following are/were my projects -

AFV Club MaK Mk20 Weisel
"Suicide projekt" - converting the Dragon Scud-B into the Smerch MLRS
