has anybody ordered this yet (and received it) looks like apretty good book since i'm a halftrack maniac. never looked deep into the osprey series, so..this one to get or is there a better one out there?

Shain, In the next day or two, I'm going to be doing a little overview of the Osprey modelling series in the features section. Some of the titles they have in this series are truly excellent - I hav e2 or 3 myself and they are truly brilliant value for money - order it, you won't be diddapointed...Jim

Osprey's new modelling series is a huge improvement on their original modelling books. The T-34 volume in the original series managed to model a T-34-85 with the casting seams from one factory overlaying the seams from another.

So far I've got the M3 and Stalin books from the new series and they are well worth it. Next on my list is the book covering US Tank Destroyers, and when it comes out the M113.
