On the subject of compressors, what about the better spec'd 'tyre inflators', would they be any good? I know you would need some sort of regulator, but the 'regulator' that screws on top of the aircans should be able to do that. See, I would like a compressor, but don't want to spend a fortune, or the need for industrial earmuffs. :-) .

Cheers

James< yes you can get extras like tyre inflators and spray guns.I also saw a compressor in Argos a JCB I tried to get a look at it but it was an order job only and I was worried about the connector for my ab air line B&Q had a adapter for their one cost me £1.70.Oh yes they keep them in stock you dont have to order.Goto admit its loud, so I took it down my shed and filled the tank there.

what was the brand name of your compressor? i can't find anything like a compressor on their site, if you search for one it just throws up de-humidifiers

i have seen an in store advertisement for Rockworth compressor in my local B&Q. I havent been able to get any here in N. Ire. It is advertisied at around £49.99. Can't remember the capacity of the tank ,(i think its about 6 litres)but the carrying handle doubles as the storage tank. anyone know more about them.

Check ebay for this compressor and airbrush. Good value at £100. I have been using this combo for 3 months now and it's very good quality / value for money. No - I am not the seller. :-)

I have got a B&Q Rockworth compressor. I have had it for about 8 months and am very pleased with it. The only down side is it usually scares the crap out of me when it recharges!! It comes with a long airline and can be left out side (as long as its dry) and the airline trailed in through a window. All in all a nice, cheap, noisy compressor. Oh and all the other tools in the kit mean you can use it for otherstuff too. (why you would I don't know :-) (nailguns are cool though!!))
