Hey guys, earlier i was reading a post and it had the name Bill Mauldin. I was thinking and i finally figured out why the name sounded so familiar. I read his book "The Front." Is he a modler here at Armorama?

Check in your local used book store. You can usually find a copy of his "Up Front" in the WW2/History section.

Yes, he died on January 22, 2002, I believe. I have always loved his art and cartoons. Join if you like. Thanks for your time.

For those who would prefer a "new" copy (reprint) of his book "Up Front," I saw it at a local Barnes & Noble....in WWII History section...

I recently found a used copy in very good condition on Ebay for $5 as well...

I had the opportunity to visit the 45th Infantry Division museum in Oklahoma City a number of times where many of Bill Mauldin's original works are displayed. Mike Gonzales is the curator and is a friend of mine. They sell his book in the museum book store and a few prints as well. Awesome collection and its well taken care of. There is a dio of the cartoon with Willie and Joe underneath a Stug III that you mentioned.
