Could anybody tell me where I could buy the scale drawings for the M578 in 1/35 I already have the M107, or M110A1 donor lower part, but I want to scratch the crane part.

I have no way to change the size of the drawings so I like them to be exact so I could lay the piece I make down on the picture to make sure I made it the right size. So if anybody could tell me the place that sells these, I'd appreciate it a whole lot. Thank You

I'm not sure but you might want to check here: www.combatindex.com. They have scale drawings of various vehicles along with some TMs and lots of pics of most US military equipment.

ya can try the pmms magazine that has an issue on it, and italeri/verlinden did a conversion kit for it, but that was dc'd in 2002.

just type in m578 on google and the articles will pop up for ya

http://pmms.webace.com.au/reviews/books/allied-axis/mmir_erv.htm

the first addy gives ya different color schemes, the 2nd addy is for the pmms manual......
let me know how this works out, as i am wanting to do the same thingm but have never scratch built before...

Well Reb, do you have a good computer, or know how to use one, cause I got pretty lost at the site, but they seemed to have the most of what we needed.

Integrated Publishing, I found them on a google search looking for the m578. The thing is to find out is if they would have scale drawings to sell.

I know they got line drawings for free, but they aren't scale, or I have no way to print it out, my printer is down for lack of ink cartridges, and at near 50 a pop, they might stay that way.

The thing is if you go there and find out what you can, and we could split the cost and both of us will get our feet wet at the same time.

Best Regards Kerry

I've still got a couple of 578s at work. There are photos of one of them in my motor pool. We most likely still have all the TMs for the vehicle as well.

Straightedge/Reb-- I sent you a PM. I have a built Verlinden M578 that I acquired in an estate sale that is yours for the cost of shipping if you want it. I have no use for it and the build is pretty good. Let me know if you would like it. "Q"
