Hi, I'm looking for a new compressor after my semi-reliable Revell compressor died on me.
I've been around a few shops and a Sil-Air compressor looks promising. What do you think, any good ??

The big plus of the Sil-Air compressors is that they are studio compressors, IE they are SILENT. Worth every penny, unless you can have the compressor in a sound proof box!

I use a Revell Omega Airbrush Compressor, this piston compressor is a Sil-Air 15 Export copy, oil lubricated with 1,5 liter air tank - both manufactured by Werther International Spa. in Italy, very compact and silent (35-38db) with moisture trap, oil level, air regulator, etc.
I'd bought it on Ebay-Germany and it cost under 200 euros + 11 euros shipping by UPS (I would like to buy it in my HLS but it cost at 340 euros!)
Other detail: European Revell Omega & Sil-Air 15 Export compressors were manufactured for 220 volts, the Sil-Air 15 sold in the North America was manufactured for 110 volts.
HTH.
