Whew! Saves me from buying the Tamiya M551 which IMO has bad dimensions (due to motorization). I wonder how good this is....

I'm really looking forward to get my hands on the Sheridan!

It is not just your opinion and motorization is only partially responsible. Ancient Tamiya kit and old Academy copy of it were MUCH too big - closer to 1/32 scale.

A decent M551 at last.. I hope they'll give us the option to build the Desert Shield 82nd Airborne variant...

The old Tamiya/Academy kit was not only dimensionnally challenged and motorisation-holed, above all it lacked detail and quality of detail....

Let's hope it won't be a new M728CEV story....

Geez, I'll probably get flamed for this, but would it really be to much trouble to give a list of the items released in the forum thread itself? I could understand if the list was long but when it is short like this one why not just list it here. Do you guys get extra points or something every time someone clicks on the link. (and yes that was meant tongue in cheek) I know this comes off like I'm too lazy to click on the link but when you have a slow dial-up connection it takes a minute or so, then when the page comes up there's nothing there I'm interested in reading about.

Mike, the link to the item is simply that - we try to put in the information that is needed. The news stories are there to provide a permament record of the new releases - a resource if you like. We are posting a lot of news, there is no way that threads would suffice. Also, apart from PMMS, I honestly think we are providing the best in news service on the web. A lot of different people are contributing a lot of time - particularly with the reviews section....Jim
