A lot of license plate decals have WH or SS prefixes. Obviously it denotes vehicles in either Wehrmacht or Waffen SS service. I have found in the Tamiyas’ Kubelwagen kit decal sheet a license plate with a WL prefix but oddly enough no mention of how the any of the markings go into the vehicle in the instruction sheet.
How can I depict a kubelwagen in an anti-aircraft battery of the Luftwaffe in Africa?

maybe this info will help
Germen License Plates
WH = Wehrmacht Heere (army)
WL = Wehrmacht Luftwaffe (air force)
WM = Wehrmacht Marine (navy)
SS = Waffen - SS
OT = Organization Todt
POL= Polizei (police)
So a license plate of WL for Luftwaffe.. then the tactical symbol for Anti-aircraft and the Divisional Insignia for Africa. ( I think the palm tree for the D.A.K. was the most poplular but not sure if it was used on Luftwaffe vehicles you might want to check with someone with more experience on that..
The abberations are from Panzer Colors II Marking sof the german army panzer forces.. so should be right.
