I was reading an artical just a little while ago to where they used Grantline bolts to put on their tanks instead of hex rod, that the hex rod looks like a clown shop.

Well as long as I keep cutting them crooked they do look like clown bolt heads, so could anybody tell me where you can get these Grantline Bolt heads by mail order?
Thank You in advance.

I picked these up at the local model railroad shop:

Tichy Train Group..... they don't have as much flash as Grantlines.
They come in various sizes,(not as many as Grantline line) hex, square, with and with out washers, and also rivets, ( for the counters) down to .20.
probably can get from Walthers.

Here's the address on package so you can write them for more info.

Tichy Train Group
PO Box 39
Plainview NY 11893-0039

you get about 90 in a pack for $2.50

Thank You for the address Dave, I'll give them a letter to see what I can do there, Grandtline give me a e-mail this morning, trying to explain theirs, to how it came on a thing that looks like a comb, with the nuts, and bolt heads both, but without ever seeing one I have no idea what she was talking about.

When I went to their site all I could find was a few hex shaped nuts, and some with washers, and it never mentioned about bolt heads. So I e-mailed them asking, and they just replyed this morning, but it still isn't clear.

I don't know of many uses for square nuts, I know they are used, but not much by truck, or tank manufacturers, so I was asking for other sizes, besides the 5 or 6 they showed, but all she came back with was about how the bolt heads come with it, on a comb looking thing.

Nothing about other sizes. Now I want to thank you for this other address, Tichy train group

Best Regards Kerry
