While i was up in Delaware getting married
i had the great honer to meet up with Forrest Guth from E company the "Band of Brothers" what a great guy very unasuming he and my father who also landed on d-day with the british spent pretty well the whole day together he gave us both signed copy of his book with some wonderful photos.
His charecture was given to some one else in the film but they made copys of his kit i,e jacket as he had customised it with extra pockets on the arms and on the back.
He said the Band of Brothers was very well done but said with a little smile when you covered open ground you never did it walking stood up as depicted in the series, getting a copy of the book really is a must to go with the dvd or video.
