hi guys
is there a way of temperarily (?) attatching the wheels while i build the indy link tracks so i can remove them later for painting ????

What Brand of kit is it? Tamiya generally has vinyl caps that'll hold it on.....No glue. other brands may be just a nice press fit. if not use superglue.... and debond it when done!!!

Good old fashion white glue works well. Usually they will simply twist off, since the bond isn't to stronge, and if not a little soaking in water will soften the white glue. Easier than debonder.

Me I've always just put wheels on assembled kit, painted base color and had all the individual links painted their base color (black, steel and brownish). Assembled the tracks touched up what I needed. Then camoflaged if planned, weathered the whole shooting match and highlighted/dry brushed. I love the way individual links look, but they are a major pain in the butt and very prone to break so iI do a one time shot at them. The one time I had to go back in I had a devil of a time with stuff breaking (AFV M-88)

I use blue tac for posters ..it works for me..
