I haven't seen the sea since I was a kid, (I went to Southport a couple of years ago but the tide was so far out I couldn't see it).
I mentioned this to my mate and he said we should go to Blackpool on Wednesday for the day. Can anyone reccommend any places of interest to visit, either modelling or lager related?

not many if any shops in B'pool but if going by car stop by transport models got a big selection of A/c ect as for lager

Hi Davey, I don't think I'll be able to drop by at Preston. I'm going in my mate's car and he's got it into his head that we're going to spend all day binging, paint the town red and go on the pull.

More likely we'll paint the town beige and the only thing I'll pull is a muscle.

well you should be able to find some fat slappers easy enough in B'pool if you you can always buy some blow up "companions"

Well, I've just returned from my day out at Blackpool. The weather was a bit drizzley at first but it dried up later.

We got lost on the way there (3 hours instead of around 2 hours travelling time). Then we went to the pleasure beach first and got absolutely drenched on a ride called the Valhalla and spent the rest of the day soaked.

I got slightly wobbly thanks to the lager, and we spent half the afternoon in the Tower Lounge singing along with the old biddies.

We got lost on the way back (3 hours 40 minutes).

All in all it was a great day out.
