Well, today was a perfectly beautiful day here in the Garden State, bright sunshine, balmy 68 degrees, lovely day for a drive.
So PvtParts and myself figiure lets go up to Ramsey, and check out Hi-Way Hobby. Well, John picks me up at noon as planned, and off we head for our 35 mile jount to Ramsey. When we get there, low and behold.... they are closed. Now they are normally open on Sunday's after Labor day, so maybe they can't read a calender.
So we head back towards good old Parsippany, but instead of taking the interstate, we take the old route 202, and decide to shoot over to Hobby Hut on Route 23 in Pompus Plains. Once again .... closed.
So we decide to eat, best part of the day so far. (I like FOOD)....
and a real cute waitress to-boot...... :-) , and off again to another hobby shop on the way back to Parsippany, we hit Tech-Toys..... at least they were open.... picked up the Williams Brothers Electra kit, and a piece of square brass tubing. So we decide to hit good old Fred's (F&M) in Denville on the way home, get there just as he's closing.
High light of the day was one car ablaze on route 80, and a 3 car smash up on Route 10&202......didn't look like anyone was hurt, but all need the hooker.
Well, it was a nice day for a drive at least, and it was PvtParts gas....... and I got off rather cheap in the spending department,............Remember I'm cheap......
OK JOHN..... I'll take my truck up to AMPEAST next week..... LOL :-) :-) :-) :-)

You're not supposed to boot them.

Anyway Dave, at your age should you even be looking? :-)

Heh heh, a technical marvel eh?

My ex was like that, although more of a Model T Ford than a sports car. Old and rickety with bits falling off.
