Hi all,
Maybe it’s a bit off topic (sorry for that) but I’m so #$>”+*^!!& proud of my wife, I just had to share this with you. I already knew my wife has several skills but now she also started modeling. She build the ARII Volkswagen and is planning a small dio with a big tree that the Vw just crashed into. A female driver is standing next to the vehicle and a donkey ( in the field next to the road) is coming close to see what happened. Some nights we are modeling side by side! Isn’t that just great? And if that isn’t enough, I really like the way she builds the various things. I took some pics so I can soon show you what I mean.

Mark....I am also very close to reaching Nirvana like yourself...My wife loves submarines, and she is finally(I think) ready to tackle her first kit...She's been watching me for years and I think she has finally realized that there really is something to this fantastic hobby of ours....Keep the family modeling, brother, and thank your lucky stars that you have the opportunity to enjoy a hobby with your better half...

Sincerely,
Gunny

actually, thats terrible news, now you'll run out of glue more often :-)

j/k of ocurse, I'm eager to see the in progress pics, our hobby could benefit from more female modelers though I can't see that happening in the near future.

hi Mark,
thats so good to hear,it means you have one more in common as a man and wife my wife doesnt model but always support and make very constructive critics on my models.
why not registering wife here and putting her models in her own gallery?

Now that is realy great, being able to share that moment with your wife. Not many men are lucky enough to get a wife to show interest in modeling, I know I never could.

Now she knows that model after it is done is no longer just a piece of plastic, but a part of you, that you poured your heart into it, plus hours of work, that she has now done the same.

Good luck, and I hope you many years of modeling together.

Ohhhhhh I can see that arguements on the horizon.......
"You were suppose to bring home the glue!!!!"
"No.... I didn't forget to clean the airbrush!!!!!!"
"What ???? you actually expect to use my special super duper series 7 brush!!!!!"
"You used that photo etched set that I was planning on using!!!!"
"Stop being such a da*n rivet counter..... besides that's the wrong color!!!!"
And my favorite ......
"She took best of show..... and all I got was this rotten Tee shirt!!!!"
Of course the above is all written tongue-in-cheek.....
hope you two enjoy the extra time you spend together.

and I e-mailed my girl the "Remarkable" webpage and I hope it inspires her.
Your wife does good work and we're waiting to hear what her callsign is at the "Big A Ranch"!
Get her in here, man!

I's nice to have a wife who supports your hobby. My wife buys me kits whenever she passes by the hobby shop. I hope that my son picks-up on my interest.
