I planned to make a sequel to my mold making article, explaining how to make a two-piece mold. Then I discovered this website explaining and illustrating it all. For all those who want to try a complicated mold, this is a must-read !

Good one General. But me myself I try to avoid two piece molds. Their was an article in a old Military modeler mag that had the best way to do two piece molds so that they did not deform while trying to keep the resin from oozing out the sides. If you want I can scan it and let you have it. This guy used wax around rubber mold and wood so that very little flash had to be removed.
Oh like your new Avatar

Jeff,
Though I tried two-piece molds a few times, I prefer to work with one-piece molds. But for some parts there's no choice, is there ? I'm not sure it would be ok (copyrights) to scan the article and post it here, though it would be very helpful to users of this forum.
