Hi, Don't know if this has been suggested before but I just found out an interesting use for those old bent, or broken micro drill bits.

I was having trouble finding something that would fit snuggly into some hinge holes I had drilled out on Trumpeter's 1/16 scale T-34 model, and noticed some of these old broken bits that have been laying around. A perfect fit. And they are very tough too, so there is no danger of the hinge breaking off from normal handling.

Of course you have to put your hand over them when you used wire cutters to cut them, as they most definitely will go flying to who knows where if you don't. But that's no problem. And be sure to have glasses on, just for safety's sake. (And mouth closed as well. Ha, ha!)

Just thought I'd pass this along, take care, Sgirty
