Gentlemen,
I have finished my first professional modeling job over the weekend, and with the blessings of it's owner, I can show my friends at Armorama.
The truck, a '55 Ford panel truck, is a 1/25th Revell kit and was, by far, the worst model I can ever remember. The parts were warped, pieces were missing! The flash on the body filled in the whole window opening on 4 of the 7 windows. It was a horrible mess when I first opened the box, but, I did pretty good on bringing it up to the owner's expectations.

I made $30.00 and that makes me a Pro!
RIGHT?

Right?

right.....

It will be prominently displayed with the owner's 30 or so cast metal scale motorcycles. Don rides a custom Harley and collects various scale die cast motorcycles. When I went over there one day, he asked if I could build this 55 Ford "Chuck Wagon" so he could display it with the others.
Don's a good buddy and for anybody else I would of charged by the hour with adds being charged extra.
I will say that it was odd working in such a large scale again. I haven't done 1/24th or 1/25th since, I think, the eighties! :-)

It was fun though

Nice truck, Murph Dog! Don's gonna love this! You know, you totally undercharged him. :-)

Nice job!

Do you know the difference between a "pro" and an "amateur"?

A "pro" doesn't point out their mistakes! I'm not saying you had any, but I try to remember that definition. I'll let others point out my mistakes whether I am doing "pro" work or not.

There's a Harley plant in our town. I'll have to arrange a visit.
