I have always feared putting together separate track links.most modellers work round the wheels of there tank then when there done they paint them, but trying to paint a track on a AFV some places may not have paint on.so i came up with a solution, make both tracks in one go.glue all your links together to make one long run making sure theres enough links .when you have made both sides let the glue dry then paint your tracks.give a few hours to let the paint dry then place one track at the top of the drive wheel and feed it along, make sure the track looks even at both ends .then take a hairdryer and start to warm up one side of the track,it should start to bend round the drive wheel.then do the same to the idel wheel.if all has work well both ends of the track should meet in the middle then glue together.i may not be the first to do this but i can tell you this is saves a lot of money buying those after market track links :-) cheers
