Hi all,
i have about 35 empty 1/72nd mainly airfix boxes here and was wondering if it is worth my while putting them up for trade/sale?
I bought the first one about 4-5 years ago.

yeah,thats a good question, i have never thrown out any of the boxes that the kits came with, most if not all are in mint condition,are they even worth anything?

Stick them on eBay. You do see them from time to time and they do sell. Especially if they've got "classic" box art. Make sure you include a photo of each though as they will not sell without one.

me too keep the empty boxes. i dont throw them all...

if they worth?? hmm i dont know about that but i've have seen an empty Transformers box sold at eBay for USD 8.00 ..

perhaps, the one with nice box art will be valuable someday...
what do u guys think??

Indeed, kit boxes do sell...

Best selling items are boxes with full illustration of the vehicle against a battlefield background or something like that..

I personnally don't bother and throw away the box (because dragging it around from and to the hobby club on friday doesn't do it any good), but I know some people who buy empty boxes, or just buy a complete kit for the box... Scored myself some cheap kits that way
