Howdy gents,

Just a quick query on where to get a kit of this trailer. I just saw an Italeri kit of the (WW II) Jeep pulling a trailer of some kind, but the cover art on the box doesn't show it very well. The info on the side of the box does state that the trailer is part of the kit.

Does anybody know if that particular kit does indeed have the M8 or the M10 ammo trailer? I'm wanting it for my Sherman build, so any help would be appreciated.

Tread.

Tiger Models Design does both an M8 and M10 trailer in resin. http://www.tigermodels.com/shop/tmd/search. The Italeri kit has an ordinary ¼ ton trailer.

Here are the direct links for the two items Sabot pointed out
M8 trailer

M10 trailer

They don't appear to come with any ammo, but the Tigermodels also have 155mm and 105mm ammo kits, however I was only able to find the link for the 155mm ammo load:

Maybe someone could help me out on finding the 105mm ammo.

Masters Productions of France also does a resin M10 trailer. Sorry, I have no link to them, but I'm sure someone monitoring this site does.

I have the TMD M8 kit and it is very nice looking molds in the box. I have not started assembly. It is a all resin kit with solder for lines and wires and a large chunk of lead foil. If you don't mind scratch building, then FSM's Dec '02 issue has a nice article with scale templates to build a M-8 trailer. Great little project if you happen to have an extra set of wheels from the Italeri 105 howitzer.
