Hey there folks! I've just uploaded some pics of my 2 halftracks - a Sdkfz 250/9 and a 250/3. The 250/9 is finished to represent a vehicle of the 116th Pz Div in Normandy 1944, whilst the 250/3 is depicted as the famous vehicle "Greif", the personal vehicle of Erwin Rommel in Africa. 4 figures have been included for this vehicle, one of them being Rommel himself.
You can check out my pics under my nick Floogen.
Thanks!

As usual, I'd love to hear any comments/advice from you guys!

Cheers!
Alan

Glad you like the figures heh..
No lah, both halftracks from Tamiya

The Grief had been lying in my cupboard for the last 10 years, so I thought I'd finish it finally. The 250/9 is also a Tamiya kit - I have the DML kit too, but haven't build that one yet...

So, did you get lots of planes from Vernon that day? Wah..you really airplane see-foo man..

Cheers!
Alan

Hei Alan aka Figure Sifu,

You should post some of your photos in the Softskin section of the AFV forum. Who knows may help promote "business". The one below is a very nice shot.

Hope to see Zaidi soon. May be able to pick the spray booth but it seems now you may have to trade something for it (hehheh).. :-)

Sorry lah, the DML 250/9 is already 'booked' by someone - he commissioned me to build it for him...Maybe you can find them still in MH?

First of all,

BROTHER! helluva 250 la...i like it the most, just like one i saw in military modelling mag sometime ago, issue 2001 number berapa tak ingat. the end product was so incredible. gila la luuuuu...respect betingkat!

and the figures...what to say, kasi buleh? hehehehe

Penang was okay, but the model shop was closed and i dont know for what reason. And i didnt manage to find my way to BM coz of my tight schedule.

and its quite sad to know that one of my model making fren there in penang had quit building after only a year. now i can get some of his model for free, hehehehe.

SAF jalan Tar also was a dissapointment, the stuffs that are quite similar to Static grass juga abis stock. theres one but already glued to something, jadi macam karpet. beli ajelaaaa sebab dah tak tahan.

ive bought 1 sdkfz 251/d from AFV club, a kubelwagen and some more figures to complete my ardennes dio.

251's are like susah juga nak jumpa nowadays, dont chu think.

Hi Opie,

Good to hear your'e back from Penang but sad to hear kedai dekat situ dah tutup. By the way I finally finished my 3rd. Dio called "Drugs Do Kill". Its over at my gallery and I posted some pics dekat Diorama forum. If you like the grass there I boleh jual some. Heh!heh! just kidding, if its suitable for you dio I could let you know how to scratchbuild them. Very easy.

Suffian,
Thanks for the nice comments
But honestly, my work is not as good as some of those guys out there
Compared to their work, my work only average lah...
Some of you guys here also very good at dioramas -
If I ever need more advice on dioramas, I got lots of 'si-fu's here on this forum to ask!
