I was down on the coast this weekend, and went over to the USS Alabama Battleship Park. If you are in the area, it is a nice place to visit. Go here. http://www.ussalabama.com/

Well worth the $10 fee. I do have a few pictures, and will try to get them on soon.

I agree, very cool place. I was down there the week of July 4th, did the battleship and went to Pensacola and checked out the Naval Aviation Museum, all well worth the trip. I'm ready to go back!

Ciao everyone,
I remember taking a tour of the Iowa when she pulled up pierside in Augusta Bay, Sicily. I even got to pull the brass triggers on the turret. I did a video, but my roomate made off with it. It was way cool.
Ciao for now

We (Intrepid fomer crew members) went aboard the Iowa when she was decommissioned and sitting in Philly, yardbirds gave us a great tour, even down to the boiler and engine rooms...... Oh OH hope we didn't get anone in trouble with that one...... We were all down there for a change of command on the old "Jolly Jack Kennedy" several years ago.
