I'm a student film-maker trying to put together a short in North Africa. I need Afrika Korp boots. I don't want to spend a lot, and they do not have to be real, so long as they come close. Any ideas on this or any other knock-off german equipment please let me know.

Zoso;
Pick yourself up a copy of World War II Magazine, in the classifieds are companies that offer Authentic Originals(which are quite pricey) and good reproduction German uniforms, insignia, surplus, etc.
Two that come to mind are Krupper and Militaria, both I believe are based out of Syracuse, New York...They also have on-line catalogs, so check them out...You should find what you're looking for.
Sincerely,
Gunny
