Thought I would place this here in general modeling. My question is..I am finally at the final stages of my dio and was curious to how most folks secure all the odds and ends to their dio base? All the little crazy add ons..I.E. rakes, logs , split wood, etc. Thanks for the help!

I use White Glue, specifically "Aleene's Tacky Glue", available at Micheal's. It a thick White Glue that holds almost immediately, but is still workable. Use it for trees, figures, and all other "stuff".

Chuck, It will even hold figures without having to drill a "peg" into a foot?

John - 1/35 and smaller yep, don't know about larger cus I didn't build up there, but I've used the stuff to secure building in place. I usually apply the glue by "allowing the figure to step in it", just enough to give a complete coating of the bottom of the foot or feet. If the figure or what ever is leaning a too acute an angle I prop it in place with a toothpick or the like. When dry, if the base material can hold it so will this White Glue.

I'm OLD, LOL and out of fashion, but I still pin larger items and use 5 minute epoxy.

For larger pieces, screwing or putting pins in the feet would do. Then dab some superglue on it
