So I'm out on a rather large forest fire in the hot and dry State of Emergency....oops.... California, when I injured myself while scouting the fire line.

I'm on the disabled list for 2 weeks so I'll use the down time to work on some kits I've had on hold for the summer.

This will teach me to try to kep up with those pesky Forest Service Hot Shot guys and gals!

Sorry about the injury Bob, I hope its not to bad! Hope its nothing a little modeling time wont cure. I have a friend, also a member here who is a firefighter in california. David Carney. He is fighting fires around Shasta somwhere. Extra dry and extra hot this summer. I just hope it dont get as bad as last year!
