I'm doing some work with aluminum flashing and wondered, before I try it, if anybody has any info on any special procedures/warnings about soldering very thin (.10 ) aluminum.
Any Thoughts?

Do you have the 'special' aluminum solder? Seriously.
While never having had the need or opportunity to solder aluminum there are several solders and fluxes now avialble to handle the task.

I do not have aluminum solder, I will get some at ACE tomorrow, should I get anything else? I have an adjustable soldering gun, clamps and so on.
Have you done it?

Murphy,
I have not soldered aluminum but have done a lot of brass - visit my selected link and scroll down to the engine pics to see 'sweat' soldering. I use a hot plate as it is possible to arrange or fixture the pieces in place and then solder while on the plate.
