How to find info about a person from WWII?

Hey Guys,

I have an M-41 jacket that has 3 sets of numbers (5 and 4 numbers long) as well as a name written inside the coat. The first two numbers seams to have a line drawn through them as in they were previous owners. I would love to find out who these people were and what units they were in.

Where would I find this information?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I will post pictures in a while so you can see.

Sorry I can't help you with your question. But I would love to see your jacket as I have a US one but don't know what type it is and would like to compare
