Would anybody know of a site that would have some pictures of some engine areas of these trucks. According to Italeri, they say an order was issued for the Ford factories in Germany, Netherlands, and France to modify their Ford V 3000 S 3 ton. trucks, and the Opel factories converted their Opel Blitz trucks to the half track role.
They say it was a 3,626cc 68 HP. engine I got to looking and the 37 thru the 44 Blitz is identical to the Maultier.

On the other hand, some modeling example can be found here although it is a Mercedes-Benz L3000.
