Gentlemen,

Need your help. I'm about to try to convert the Tamiya Pink Panther (Series II) to a Defender 110 used in the Gulf war by the SAS. I've figured out more or less how to convert some of the basic bodywork except for the wheels.

I wrote a note on the Armor forum section but most of the suggestions was to buy the wheels from Accurate Armor and one suggestion to modify. Problem is the Accurate Armor Rover is the latest LR and the whole model is super expensive(around RM 500) so the wheels are probably pretty expensive too.

Someone suggested modifications but he didn't give me the method. The wheels I need are Michelin or Goodyear wheels which have a coarse off-road treads. The ones that came with the Tamiya set has straight line Dunlops. The dimensions are:

Diameter 2.4 cm
Thickness 0.8 cm,
Rim diameter 1.2 cm.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
