...this is one model I would love to build ! This pic is from the Nats. It is a scale model of a Top fuil drag hydroplane. I drool I drool ! Of course I am a Drag Boat fan. But this is the first time I have seen a model of one. And the modeler did a top notch job on it to.

Well, ain't that something. One portion of the hobby that most of us militry type builders almost totally ignore. Go to a model show sometime and see how fierce the competition is on cars. Flawless paint jobs and SUPER DETAILED engines. These guys ARE REALLY GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Model cars are way kool. When not playing with aromor cars receive much attention. Car modeling is an entirely different discipline as zero weathering is typically the goal making craftsmanship and finishing paramount.

I was telling my buddy about this last night , and he has a Revell 1/35 Ski boat he is going to give to me. Its a flat bottom design with a V8. hehe So quess what I am going to do? It *will* be converted to a Drag boat !
Funny how things work out, I have been looking all these years for one of these, and bang, there it is!
