Well I just flew in from Virginia Beach and are my arms tired............LOL.
No, really, just got back a couple of hours ago. I went down with J. D. Spearman, the IPMS/Richmond president. NIce trip. Made it down in 2 hours flat. Not much traffic to speak of. Coming back was another story.
Anyway, this intrepid reporter braved many temptations of the vendor room and actually underspent his budget for the day. But let me tell you something people, the entries that were there so far were great. A police car diorama with flashing lights and crime scene photographers taking picture of an accident scene where the victim is.........a box of donuts. Another dio of a drive-in theater complete with 50's sci-fi movie showing. A scratchbuilt framework of a WW I Neiuport 28, a really nice Desert Storm.M109 SPG with interior. Lots of figures, two in particular was a resin "Gunslinger Ghoul"and "Apeonauts", 3 ape figures in astronaut suits, both really nicely done.As soon as I resize my pictures I will send them off to be posted.
I imagine Jim and Bryan (Tin_Can) will also do some posting on Sunday.
